I am so excited to announce that I have been nominated for the Blue Sky Tag Blog Challenge by Nabeeda of World of Nabeeda!
I love all of these Blogger Challenges and Awards because not only does it give me some exposure on other blogs, it gives me the opportunity to check out other amazing blogs and promote them here for you all to read. Check out my Ultimate Bloggers to Follow Series, too, if you’re looking for some other amazing blogs. I love reading new blogs and sharing what makes them helpful and super valuable with you guys!
Without further ado, here are my answers to the Blue Sky Challenge:
Q: If you could be any animal which would you be and why?
A: I don’t think I would want to be an animal.
Q: What is one food you can’t live without?
Q: Where would you like to travel?
Q: What is one thing you want to do before you die?
A: Just one thing? Buy an RV and spend the year travelling the US with my family and write a book about it. Then I would spend another year travelling the world with my family.
Q: If you could recommend one book to people, which would it be?
A: This is hard because I love to read and there are so many amazing books out there! For bloggers, it would be Blog by Number by Suzi Whitford of Start A Mom Blog – the book shows even the most technically-challenged people like me how to start and market all aspects of your blog and how to monetize in a short time. For non-bloggers? Anything by Patricia Cornwell! Absolutely LOVE her Scarpetta series. If you haven’t read her books, you’re seriously missing out.
Q: What do you feel most proud of?
A: My family. Hands down no competition there.
Q: If you had a chance to do anything differently in life, what would it be?
A: I would be better with money. I am great at helping others plan their finances and creating a budget, but I really could be MUCH better at it myself for our own household budget. I’m not totally awful and I have gotten better this year, but I am still working on it.
Q: If you could have only 5 possessions, what would they be?
A: My Nikes! A laptop so I could read and write as much as I wanted – I would have access to tons of books and blogs, and could still earn a living from home. A Camera so I could take pictures of my kids all the time, a toothbrush – because bad breath is awful, and an endless supply of canvas and paint!
Q: What is your biggest fear?
A: My biggest fear is something happening to my husband and children.
Q: What is your most embarrassing moment?
A: Oh gosh there have been so many! One that stands out is when I was 15 and at my dance recital. We were doing our jazz dance to “Joy and Pain” and our tops were halter tops that connected the back of the neck. Well, my mom thought it would be a great idea to use Velcro instead of a pin – to make sure I didn’t get stabbed in the back of the neck while I was dancing – and right in the middle of the dance – while I was front and center, of course – the Velcro snapped and my top fell to my waist! I finished the dance while holding my top up and we received a standing ovation! Nothing showed thank God!) and everyone talked forever about how I kept it together and never missed a step! Now I can laugh about it, but it was awful at the time!
Q: How would your best friend describe you?
A: Nurturing, devoted, impulsive, obsessive, chaotic, orderly, purposeful, loving, cheesy, adorable, organized. 🙂
