If you’re anything like me, you’re always looking for better, more efficient and effective ways to save money. What if I told you I could show you how to find extra money to pay your bills every month – and you wouldn’t have to sell anything. In fact, you could do it simply by going shopping and buying all the things you normally buy for your household.
Grocery and household shopping is often one of those tasks that parents – stay at home and working alike – dread. You are either running through the store in a mad dash while the kids are tired, grumpy, arguing, or grabbing everything off the shelves and tossing it in the cart while your back is turned – or you are so tired and in a rush after work that you don’t really care what goes in the cart as long as you stay close to (?) your weekly shopping budget and get out of that store in a flash.
Either way, you get home, unpack your bags and wonder what the heck you bought and how you completely blew your shopping budget. Sound familiar? I’m sure it does. But it doesn’t have to be like that.
Read on how to find extra money to pay your bills every month!
What if I told you that you could make enough money to pay your electric and cable bill each month by grocery shopping? I have learned some great tricks to maximize my savings and cash back and minimize spending on most of my household bills. All it takes is some simple organization, planning, and a couple super simple techniques. (No, I not talking about extreme couponing – busy working families do not always have time for cutting and organizing coupons!)
I have found a way to not only save time, save money, refine my monthly shopping budget to have money left over each month AND earn enough money to pay at least one other household bill each month. And I do it without selling anything to anyone.
I actually make the money back by using money-saving apps for items I have to buy every month anyways. I am talking about groceries and household supplies like toilet paper (who doesn’t need that?!), dish soap, laundry soap, paper towels, toiletries and everything else we need to keep our family’s needs stocked.
It does take some planning and careful strategy, but once you get organized the first time, it is simple to maintain. Using these strategies took me from totally blowing my monthly budget to not only saving money, but reducing my budget and actually making money! What if I told you that you could make enough money to pay your electric and cable bill each… Click To Tweet

How to maximize your savings and cash back with these apps
Many of these apps not only offer coupons and savings (boxed), but they offer a percentage (jet.com) or even a flat rate (ibotta) of cash back. You can double up on these and earn double the cash back.
For example, boxed offers 5% cash back on all purchases through ibotta, and jet offers 3% cash back on purchases made through ibotta. Amazon grocery offers 4% cash back on purchases made through ibotta. Couple this with the savings on purchasing through these sites and you double your cash back. It is JUST that simple.
You can even earn 10% cash back on your groupon purchases!
The ONLY catch with this is that you will need to spend a little more time in the beginning to make sure you are finding the best deals. This takes a little more strategic planning, but once you use the method once or twice, you will work out the kinks in your system and it will be so much simpler each time. Soon you will be able to knock out your shopping in half the time with almost none of the stress and frustration. You will save a ton of money and even have enough to pay your water bill, pay your cable/internet bill, or even your phone bill! Some months I have even been able to knock out my entire electric bill using this method.
