Ultimate Bloggers to FollowBlogging is hard work.  Anyone who tells you it’s pie-in-the-sky-easy is a liar.  Yep, I just said that.  I absolutely love blogging and sharing my knowledge with other moms in the hopes that my solutions will help them overcome their daily struggles and love the life they live.  But it’s hard work.  I put a lot into one post.  It’s not just write and hit ‘publish’.  you have to write, revise, edit, format.  And that’s just the text.  Then you have to insert the images and make sure they’re pinnable.  Then there are keywords and SEO.  Categories, tags, inbound and outbound links.  All of that goes into one blog post.  In order to really have quality and great content in your post, you have to put a lot of work into it.  In order to do this on a continuous basis – because it is a lot of hard work – you absolutely have to love it.  And I do love it.  I hope it shows in my writing.

Recently I was nominated for the Blogger Recognition Award.  I know this is an award for bloggers by bloggers, but it was so nice to be recognized.  Sometimes a simple thank-you goes a long way.  Prior to the Blogger Recognition Award, I had the idea of featuring certain bloggers every month in an “Ultimate Bloggers to Follow” series.  I will recognize different bloggers every month and highlight what I love about their site.   There are so many amazing bloggers with content that needs to be shared.  I am hoping this helps them gain some recognition and readers to their blogs because they all have something wonderful to say.

Ultimate Bloggers to Follow

Each month, the “Ultimate Bloggers to Follow” post will feature a specific theme.  My goals for this series are two-fold:

  1.  To help other bloggers gain engaged readers and recognize their hard work;
  2. For the series to be regarded as a helpful resource to my readers so they may find the most helpful tips on any subject they may be looking for
Gratitude is contagious - sometimes a simple thank you goes a long way. 🙂 Click To Tweet

This month, for my first post in this series, I am showcasing the 15 bloggers I nominated for the Blogger Recognition Award.  I selected each of these bloggers because they all have something valuable to share with us.  I hope you find their sites as helpful and inspiring as I do.

If you love their blogs, I highly encourage you to subscribe to their blogs because a lot of times – just like with my blog – there is certain content that is reserved only for their email subscribers.  For example, I have a whole series – Super Moms United – that goes only to those readers on my email List.  Do you want access to that info?  Absolutely!  Just enter your email below and you’re in!

Okay, now that you’re in – without further delay – here are the Ultimate Bloggers to Follow for June 2017

1. Victoria from http://www.MyMomtasticLife.com

Victoria’s tagline is “Figuring Out Parenthood, One Diaper at a Time.”  She covers everything from motherhood, crafts + DIY, recipes, health + happiness, and her “momtastic must-haves”.  I have been trying to kick my soda habit, and found her post on Fruit-Infused Water in Mason Jars.  I have a ton of mason jars who have been screaming for me to do something creative with them – this is it!  Plus, it’s a way to be healthier and have more energy.  Trying to lose weight?  Kick the soda habit (yes, even if it’s diet – like me) and try fruit-infused water.

2. Saidy from http://www.SimplySaidy.com

Saidy is a lifestyle and travel blogger.  She travels around the world and shares the best tips and insight from her travels.  Looking for a fantastic destination for your next world travels?  Looking for a destination to add to your bucket list? Check out Simply Saidy. My favorite post is her post about her visit to Paris, France.  I am definitely going to have to check out that tea shop she mentions.

3.  Coby from A Nourished Mom

Coby has some great tips for Moms.  Her tagline, “Going Through Ish to be Nourished” is representative to her straightforward approach to motherhood and blogging.  I love her Working Mom Hacks – 10 hacks to Keep Your Sanity – they are essentials for making your every day struggles a bit easier.

4. Michele from Love, Laugh, Caribbean

Michele and her family travel to different destination and have some of the best tips for traveling with kids.  Plus they scuba dive, so there are some beautiful photos that really make you wonder why you have never gone scuba diving (I know it made me wonder!).  If you’re looking for tips on how to plan a Florida vacation, you want to check out this article because it list several not-so-typical-yet-amazing places you’ll definitely want to visit in Florida.

5. Amanda from The Determined Mom

Amanda’s tagline on her blog is “Motivating and Inspiring Determined Moms” – and that is exactly what she does.  Looking for ways to spend extra time with your kids?  What would you do with an extra day in the month you could use to spend with your kids?  I can think of a million things.  Being with my kids is my #1 priority.  Amanda has a great post about how to find enough time to spend an extra day with your kids this month.  It is totally doable, and, I must admit, quite genius.

6.  Mini from Dazzling Zest

If you’re looking for healthy recipes, Dazzling Zest is the place to find them!  Think outside the box for school day breakfast and have this Greek Yogurt with Blue and Blackberry Sauce!  It’s like breakfast and dessert in one – but healthy. 🙂

7. Ashley Rae & Lyndsay Jean from JeanieRae

These 2 friends have the cutest ideas.  They design their own paper invitations, and if you’re in the market for some, you definitely want to check them out!  They also offer printables if you like, as well as some DIY tips.  As you know, I absolutely LOVE DIY projects, and even more, I love DIY on a budget.   I just love their idea for upcycling holiday cards into the cutest gift tags.  I will be doing this for the holidays this year for sure!

8. Victoria from Victoria Hamilton Lifestyle

Victoria is a super-talented stylist from the UK.  Wondering what to wear and what’s in style?  As busy moms, sometimes that falls by the wayside.  (I say that as I sit here in yoga pants, t-shirt, and hair in ponytail – no fashion emergency here at all!) 😉  Her tagline, “Empowering Life Design. One Successful journey at a Time” tells you exactly what to expect from her blog.  Don’t believe me?  Check out this post on the comeback of the 80’s jumpsuits and who should – and shouldn’t – wear them.  Number 3 will definitely surprise you! 😉  I couldn’t believe it.

9.  Kerry from Barking Storm

Kerry’s site explores everything dog-related and readers are “Following Storm On His Adventures Through Life.”  She has some great tips, but having a super-spoiled husky myself, I loved the post on how to make Homemade Peanut Butter Banana Dog Treats.  Funny thing is, these are people-friendly too! 😉  My Theia will definitely love them!

10. Sreya from Half Chocolate

No matter what your’re looking for, chances are you’ll find it here!  This blog, written by the Gupta sisters from India, as defined by their tagline, is “A Place to Find Stories on Life and Lifestyle and Everything Else You Will Enjoy”  My favorite section of this blog is the Health and Beauty section.  Hair loss can be a serious issue for women – especially if it is stress-induced.  I loved their 5 Easy Home Remedies to Cure Hair Fall.  They have lots of other helpful tips – I highly suggest you check it out!

11. Dee from Lacey Wishes

This is a cute blog written in the voice of Lacey, a French bulldog.  If you have a dog and are looking for some good product recommendations, check out this site.  She has a few products and dog snacks that she likes.  There are lots of photos and her storytelling is adorable.  You can’t help but love Lacey!

12. Kirsta from Mama of the Drama

Kirsta is a mom of 2, wife, and a nurse.  She blogs about crafts, recipes, breastfeeding, and parenting.  She has this amazing strategy for grocery day that I have to try!  She meal plans and then shops by RECIPE!  It’s genius.  If you’re looking for a time-saving budget-friendly grocery shopping hack, you absolutely must check out her How I Do Grocery Day post.

13.  Gayle from The Ever-Simple Mom

Gayle’s blog is hilarious.  If you’re looking for advice on parenting with a healthy dose of hilarity, check out Gayle’s site, the Ever Simple Mom.  She has categories for everything from “Easy Organization”, “Kids’ Activities”, “Parenting”, and “Simple Stuff”.  Her kids activities really speak to the Montessori mom in me.  If you love Montessori, her sensory activities are great starter activities.  Also, check out her post on process art vs crafts.  This is always a popular hot conversation for educators and parents.  In our house of 7, I am always looking for simple, budget-friendly ways to keep the house organized.    If you find yourself in the same boat, a good way to get started is her No Stress Junk-Drawer Clean-Up post.

14.  Gina from Momm(a)Musing

Gina’s blog tagline is “Lifestyles of the Modern Momma” and she blogs about a plethora of different things.  Maybe I’m just partial to her “Blogs I Love” page (wink*wink* – go check it out and see why), or maybe it’s because she has a lot of great content and advice for moms.  If you’re having a rough day, or just need some connection with other moms like yourself, check out Gina’s It Takes a Village post.  You are not alone.  There are lots of mom tribes available and looking for other moms to join – I have one here called Super Moms United – we would love to have you join us – and it’s FREE!  (PS – you even get a certificate) 😉

15.  Courtney from The Curly Anomaly

Courtney’s blog is a lifestyle blog and she has everything from travel, lifestyle, travel, music, and some pretty honest words.  Her 12 Ways to Unwind After a Stressful Day post is very helpful and offers some great ideas for stress relief.  I posted a similar post here for busy moms, and Courtney offers even more tips.  The 2 posts together are a powerhouse of information.  You definitely need to check them out.

I hope you enjoyed this LONG, but informative post on Ultimate Bloggers to Follow.  Each month I will feature about 10 blogs that I think are absolutely fantastic in a specific category, such as parenting, travel, lifestyle, kids, education, etc.  I hope you come to look forward to these posts and use them as a resource for whatever you may be seeking.

    • Thanks Liv! I wrote it in the hopes that everyone would find it helpful – there are so many great bloggers out there with so much experience. I want my blog to be a resource busy moms come to for answers and I may not have all the answers, so at least I can point them in the direction of others who may have the answers. 🙂
